First of all my opinion about this english for IT subject it is very interesting and plus with the lecturer Madam Hartini, she energetic, cheerful and sporting. I love to attend her class. This subject will make me improve my speaking and my writing as well, whether by the lecture or by myself.
Effective communication important to me because it will help me in the future, it easy for me to get job when i communicate in the interview session and it make me look more confident than others and infront others. Plus when i start work in the future it easy for me to communicate with the workers or my employers. It will also make me generate a good idea to the company. When i got a good communication skills i can make my own decision and solve the problem by myself. It also can teach me to be a good leader to my employees if i become a boss one day. The best part is when i get a very good communication skills i can be easily be promoted by my boss and maybe i can get bonus or up my allowance.
The way i want to improve my communication skills is of course to attend eng263 classes and focus in the lecture, hear what to say and what to do when we have to face in some situation. Read all the time such as english article, novels, books, magazines or even a comic books, by reading all this it will help me to say a good pronounciation and i will found some new sentences for my knowledge. It also can help me to improve my english. Another way is speak english with people around me even it make me look stupid when i speak english but it a process for me to be a success person and im still learning. Lastly i will ask my lecturer if i need something or i didnt understand what she teach in the class.
This course help me so much, i feel lucky because im taking this subject in this semester. Before this i feel ashamed when i want to talk english infront others and now i feel more confident because i dont care what people want to say about me, im try my best for myself. Im happy learning this subject with my lovely lecturer Madam Hartini and i hope my english will be more better after i graduate ! :)
